Making a career choice has never been a question for me. Furniture making has been my passion for almost 30 years. It’s not a job for me. It is my way of life. Beginning with shop classes in junior high, my love for all wood products grew into my life’s work.

I was lucky to have a long and intensive one-on-one apprenticeship with sculptor & furniture maker, Bobby Falwell. After spending nearly ten years working in Bobby’s shop, I moved from Kentucky to Texas. For the next ten years, I worked in the antique furniture restoration business – working in a variety of shops and then owning and operating my own shop. After a decade of restoring antique furniture from all over the world, I am once again concentrating on one-of-a-kind fine art custom furniture.

In my one-man shop, I am able to pay very close attention to all details of the furnituremaking process: listening to my clients, understanding what they want in their custom furniture, working out the details, hand selecting the lumber, cutting, fitting, sanding, finishing, and managing safe delivery.

I live in Dallas, Texas with my wife and two cats. My studio is located on our property.
